It has been more than 6 months since i last updated my blog.
Tons of things have happened during this period.
I started my Investment journey at the end of 2012 with focusing in small cap (growth stocks) only. Never at once i thought of buying blue chips as their financial reports were definitely out of my understanding and comprehension. But since the mid of this year, i discovered that i need some sort of balancing strategies in my portfolio as i am not comfortable to time/predict the market. Thus, my cash level has always been in the low side. I am comfortable to be in the market all the time. The best is never sell or cash out. Since then, i have been adding some blue chips (super blues) & Reits in my portfolio. So far i have accumulated about 12 of them. I intend to keep adding them as and when i have some fund allocated until they reach about 20. I am also eyeing on some Reits with sustainable dividend yield of above 5% pa. Hopefully i can divest some of my growth stocks when their valuation have almost reached to their real business value then i am able to allocate this free fund to super blues and/or Reits.
I do believe this strategy is far from perfect. Will keep revise it until it suits me best. Along with my improvement of Investment Knowledge and the increasing of my Portfolio Value, hopefully it will perform better and better!
Wish me all the best and Happy New Year 2020 to all!
